I am so excited that February is finally over.

Not because it was a bad month, but because the entire month of March I will be number 3 of 50 in the Other Talented Artists tab of Child's Own Studio. She gets 1K hits or so a day, and I'm going to be front and center! Wheeee!

I just love working with fur.

This is Blake' Dragon. Blake is 4, and definatly has the heart of a dragon.

Whee! I just love when I have a free weekend, and can just spend a whole day sewing.

When I was in grade school we were sometimes given a single squiggly line drawn on paper to "create" a picture from. This is how this little guy happened.

This is Cullen's drawing. He is 2, and I took a bit of artistic liberty here, but I think he turned out really cute.

I found the most perfect fleece and furry-type fabric, and this little guy emerged in a little over 2 hours.

Good Morning Softie People!

First ad Foremost, thanks for visiting my blog. I am VERY new to the blog scene, so things will look a little...novice for a while. I'm a quick learner, so it'll look "normal" in no time.

At any rate, I am very excited to begin making softies from your kiddo's artwork. Kids have amazing imaginations, and creating a lovable stuffed toy to compliment their work is an incredible experience. I will begin posting photos soon, (had to go buy a new digi-cam) of my past work, and my peices inspired by kiddos. I can't wait to begin. This feels like the start to an awesome, exciting adventure.
